Kaynemaile™ (KML22) is a seamless polycarbonate mesh. It is a 100% recyclable material that transforms an age-old material - chainmail - into an aesthetically-striking and highly functional contemporary surface solution. Made from polycarbonate, it is manufactured using a newly patented production process that means each link in the mesh is created as a solid shape, with no joins. This breakthrough technology means that Kaynemaile seamless mesh is lightweight and durable. It can be easily installed and cleaned, manufactured to limitless width and length, and custom-colored. These features make it ideal for a range of surface solutions such as lighting, ceiling panels, window treatments, security screening, spacial dividers, etc.

KML22 is custom manufactured for each project, and available in a range of both translucent and opaque colours. KML 22 is only 0.5 lb./sq. ft., achieves a flammability index of (FI) = 6, certifying it for use in any public application, and rendering itself
"self-extinguishing".

KML22's interlinking rings create clear channels to hook, thread or weave through. Attachment is easy and can be varied widely to suit any environment or configuration. We can provide a channel track or a clip-on fixing system. KML22 has two natural relaxed states: "open weave" and closed weave". The possibilities with this material are endless!
